Pawel re-joined Euclid Law in November 2021, having previously spent time at Euclid in 2019 and 2020, when he primarily worked on merger control proceedings in the Polish oil and gas sector.
Pawel’s experience includes a wide range of competition law matters, such as mergers, joint ventures, agreements, information exchange, abuse of a dominant position and State aid. He has experience across a number of various sectors, including in particular energy and natural resources.
His experience also includes a legal internship in an international law firm in Brussels as well as a traineeship with the European Commission.

- numerous clients on National Security & Investment Act and foreign investment screening reviews of acquisitions in the semi-conductor, cyber-security, energy, and defence sectors
- an EV charging equipment supplier on the CMA’s Phase 1 merger review
- Rio Tinto on merger control clearances relating to the Simandou iron ore infrastructure joint venture in Guinea, West Africa
- PKN Orlen in relation to the European Commission’s Phase II investigation of the merger with Grupa Lotos
- clients across energy and natural resource sectors on merger control proceedings internationally
- a client on competition law aspects relating to marketing models within a joint venture
- a pharmaceutical company on competition law aspects relating to a patent settlement
- a company active in ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance) provision in relation to a proposed joint purchasing agreement
- digital platforms in relation to Article 102 TFEU
- provider of car parts in relation to cartel follow-on damages litigation
- state aid investigations in the airline sector
