Bio
Natalie is a Counsel in the London office of Euclid Law. Before joining Euclid in September 2019, she spent 5 years working in the competition law team of Lloyds Banking Group. Prior to that, she was a Senior Associate at Clifford Chance.
Natalie has broad experience advising on all aspects of competition law, including cartels, mergers, behavioural antitrust and competition litigation. Although her most recent experience is in financial services (including retail, banking, commercial banking, insurance and merchant acquiring), she has also advised clients in a range of other sectors including media and consumer goods.
Natalie has been recognised as one of 30 most notable in-house competition professionals in her 30s (Women@competition/Parr, February 2017).
Experience
Working as an in-house lawyer at Lloyds, advising on a broad range of matters including the following (non-confidential):
- CMA clearance of LBG’s acquisition of MBNA
- PSR market review into market acquiring
- CMA market investigation into retail banking, including continued advice in relation to the key Open Banking remedy
- PSR market review into indirect access, as well as advice into access to payment account issues under FSBRA/PSD2
- Competition issues surrounding various contract negotiations
Natalie’s experience at Clifford Chance included advising clients in EU and UK antitrust investigations, mergers (Phases 1 and 2), market studies and investigations and a range of other matters.
